It's December... where we start off the month with my mother's birthday. We have a tradition started more than 15 years ago that my sister Annette started when she was in high school. At Mom's birthday we send flowers to her from her 5 children. We send 5 red roses as well as a daisy for every grandchild she has. So... the first year we had 2 daisies with her 5 roses... and in 2008 we're up to 18 daisies (and they get counted - that's for sure). Hope you've had a Happy Birthday, Mom (and Grandma)! We love you!

Actually, Mom never seems to remember it -- so it's a "new" surprise every year!
